They both had a rough childhood growing up in Mexico and they didn't have an opportunity to have an education. My dad has worked as a gardener ever since he came to the United States and my mom unfortunately hasn't been able to work because she is sick. My parents came to the United States to have a better life, and it is because of them that everyday I give it my best in school. I want to thank them for every sacrifice they have ever done for my siblings and I, by becoming someone successful in life. I’ve always dreamed about going to UCLA or UCSB, and although it may be tough I know I will be able to live that dream if I just have the motivation to never give up!
